The Situation:

Northeastern Bus Rebuilders (NEBR) is a nationally recognized leader in transit bus maintenance, specializing in mid-life overhauls and alternative fuel systems as an authorized factory representative for major manufacturers. Despite their strong reputation and operational scale, their digital presence did not reflect the same level of quality. With a website that does not reflect the modern operation they have, we had to bring their online presence to the modern era.

The Challenge:

NEBR’s previous website no longer reflected the caliber of their operation. The structure lacked clarity, the user experience felt disjointed, and the overall presentation fell short of the company’s true capabilities. This created a disconnect between the quality of their work and how the brand was perceived online. At the same time, the project required a precise approach, as NEBR held a strong number one position on Google for branded searches. The challenge was to completely refine the digital experience without compromising the visibility they had already built.

The Solution:

To address these challenges, WebElites took a strategic approach focused on fully understanding NEBR’s operations, services, and long term goals before moving into execution. This ensured the project would go beyond surface level improvements and result in a website that accurately represents the business as a whole. The build was completed under the Studio e package, allowing for a fully customized solution with greater flexibility, scalability, and attention to detail across every part of the site. At the same time, careful consideration was given to preserving NEBR’s existing search presence, maintaining their number one ranking for branded searches while improving overall performance.

The core of the solution was a complete website redesign centered around structure, clarity, and user experience. Each page was intentionally planned to guide visitors through NEBR’s services in a logical and easy to follow way, while clearly communicating their expertise and capabilities. Content was reorganized to improve flow and readability, and the overall layout was refined to create a stronger first impression and a more professional digital presence that aligns with the company’s real world operations.

To strengthen the visual impact of the site, a full content shoot was conducted, including both ground level photography and aerial drone footage. This allowed NEBR’s facility, equipment, and day to day operations to be showcased in a more authentic and engaging way. Instead of relying on generic visuals or heavy text, the website now delivers a more immersive experience that gives visitors a clear sense of the company before any direct interaction takes place.

The Results:

Within the first month of the new website launched, we were able to double their views. Along with the increased views we increased the SEO ranking for NEBR while making more pages appear within Google's ranking.

Another aspect that NEBR desired was a refreshed social media presence. We are starting from scratch with a new Instagram and fully refreshed LinkedIn profile. We plan to develop a full strategy . With the intention to educate and reach prospective clients for NEBR as well as maintain and elevate their online presence as the nationally recognized leader in their industry.
